At only a 1.5 hour´s drive from Malaga, is located the city of Granada, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (Sierra Nevada Ski Station).
The most artistic wealth of Granada is their Spanish-Muslim art such as the "Alhambra" and "Generalife".
Granada has numerous Baroque and Renaissance buildings dating from the 19th century.

- Alhambra and Generalife
The Alhambra is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, and is certainly one of the most visit monuments of Spain. The "Palace City" consists of a defensive zone, the Alcazaba, the "Nasrid Palaces" and "Generalife", which consists of a palace with gardens.
The neighbourhood: Albayzin (Albacin) of Al-Andalus origin, from the 11th century. Today the area is popular for its cafés, restaurants and bars. The Mirador de San Nicolas offers you the best views of the Alhambra.
Sacromonte is known for being the old neighbourhood of the gipsies, who settled in Granada after the conquest of the city. Since the early 90's the area became developed as a tourist attraction.
- Cathedral of Granada
It is a religious building from the middle of the sixteenth century, with a great beauty both outside and inside. It is a highly recommended tourist spot.
- Sierra Nevada
The mountain range "Sierra Nevada" is located just a few kilometres south-east of Granada. There you find "Sierra Nevada Ski Station", in winter time a busy ski-resort, with the highest point of Spain, the Mulhacen with a height of 3.478 meters.
