The neighbourhood: Albayzin (Albacin) of Al-Andalus origin, from the 11th century. Today the area is popular for its cafés, restaurants and bars. The Mirador de San Nicolas offers you the best views of the Alhambra.
- Sacromonte
Sacromonte is known for being the old neighbourhood of the gipsies, who settled in Granada after the conquest of the city. Since the early 90's the area became developed as a tourist attraction. - Cathedral of Granada
It is a religious building from the middle of the sixteenth century, with a great beauty both outside and inside. It is a highly recommended tourist spot. - Sierra Nevada
The mountain range "Sierra Nevada" is located just a few kilometres south-east of Granada. There you find "Sierra Nevada Ski Station", in winter time a busy ski-resort, with the highest point of Spain, the Mulhacen with a height of 3.478 meters. - We would like to mention another interesting place to visit, the museum Science Park of Granada, which houses fascinating examples about evolution, science and the history of the life, among other incredible topics.
